We have rewritten the endings of well known fairy tales and fables. I find it very enjoyable to let my imagination flow wildly while completing this task.

I have decided to share with you all one of my more 'interesting' endings of a well known fairy tale, The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

....The second billy goat gruff told the fat troll to wait for his older brother who was sure to be much tastier then himself (gotta love these brother's loyalty to each other!) The troll, whose intelligence could be compared to that of a rock, agreed and let the little goaty go free.

Along came the eldest bro clip cloppin' chillin' to his music, he was a punk rocker and a wild one at that! His Goaty hair was arrayed into a spiky mohawk. The troll took one look at this supposedly juicy tidbit and sprang towards him, determined to devour him whole. His strong jaw's snapped shut around the punk rocker's head. A mighty roar escaped the troll's throat as he sprung back releasing the goat. The oldest goat's spiky mohawk had inflicted sever lacerations to the roof of the troll's tender mouth. The punk rocker oblivious to his near death, cranked the volume up on his portable speakers and let the music blare! The troll who was always a classic's man himself couldn't stand it any longer and ran off in disgust to nurse his wounds and find a good classics CD.

The eldest brother joined his family in the lush green meadow.

I completed that in roughly 5 minutes :D
I am looking forward to doing the three little pig's next :P
Last night my family lit our bonfire located next to our house (ok so you have got to wonder about the wisdom of it's location....yeah i picked it ;) ) the timber and other flammable materials were very well dried out due to our lack of rain in the past month or two, it made for a very hot fire.

At the moment i am preparing my self for my drivers test this coming Monday, where if I pass, I will be on my red P's.

I have almost completely stopped working so that I can concentrate on school for the next 2 years. I now only work on Saturday.
My current plan is to finish year 12 and go to uni to do a Liberal Arts degree.

I am learning Clarinet and while I am very new at it, I am really enjoying it :)

I have had my 17th birthday.

We have started our deck.

My sister has left home and is now at uni.

I went to South Australia in April for two weeks on holiday. I had my first plane trip going there.

That concludes some of the few major updates of the past 7 months. While I would like to say I will post again regularly, no guarantees ;)

Having no concrete to ride on, means we ride them up and down the hallway with turning points at each end.

The Great Hall is one of the turning points. Being such a large space we thought, 'why not do more with it'? So that's what we did. My younger brother climbed up into the rafters and tied a rope so that it was dangling down to about his chest height. We used the rope to spin around the Great Hall and used the momentum to propel us back down the hallway, or to just keep spinning faster, and faster, until we were too dizzy to continue.

My younger sister invented the method of yelling KARKAR! Mum finally found a kind nun who use to be an English teacher willing to teach us.

Since then we have been doing writing club each Wednesday at the convent with two of our friends, while our younger brothers and sisters along with their friends have been doing it at home.

We have learnt much from Sister, especially on essays.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-27809615911739811812011-06-21T20:13:00.000-07:002011-06-22T15:22:16.165-07:00One Year Adventure NovelFor school this term, mum did some searching for a good writing curriculum. She came across one called One Year Adventure Novel and I'm loving it.

It's very good for creating a good story structure and helping you give your story a meaning and a goal, it also helps you to develop good characters for your story.

It's down side is it doesn't really help you in descriptive words and sentences, I would suggest a lot of quality reading if you want help in that area.

It comes with two work books and eight DVD's, with enough lessons for two lessons a week for a year.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-60410965489386239202011-06-21T20:05:00.000-07:002011-06-21T20:06:28.493-07:00LicenseExciting news !!!

Two weeks ago I got my L's, I passed the test getting 44/45 right.

Then I got to drive home, I was able to count it as night driving because it was dusk.

I've now got close to three hours of driving up. with more then half of it being night driving.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-59621243433671043542011-06-08T23:03:00.000-07:002011-06-09T06:02:28.560-07:00Computer'sI said a awhile ago I was working on an essay.

Building my computer I encouted problems along the way, I hope that this will help others who may be having the same problems, or just if you are at all interested in building your on computer. One of my biggest problems, was when I went to install windows 7, Microsoft does not let people know about the size of ram needed because the market for home building computers is so small and people who buy them srieght from the shops wont come across the problem, if anyone else is having problems with installing windows 7 please note the part on installing windows near the bottom of this post.

Computers

● Hard Disk Drives.(Hard Drive)
Hard Disk Drives or HDD are one of the main parts of your computer they store the information being programs, documents, settings and must be accessible to the rest of the computer for it to work properly. You may have more then one hard drive in the same computer so long as one of them is your main HDD.
The advantages of more than one is that you can backup or store the information within the one computer on separate Hard drives, you have more overall space or if another computer dies you can put their HDD's in a replacement computer and still get the data off (providing that it was not the HDD that caused the problem).

● Mother board
The mother board is the main part to your computer every thing is connected to the mother board which has the CPU chip located in it, which allows it to process every thing and most mother boards will have built in USB ports and LAN and graphics ports. The motherboard forms the backbone for all the other parts of the computer to slot into/ be connected to.

● CPU Processor (chip) or Computer processing unit
The CPU Chip is located on your motherboard and processes all the information from the hard drive and the rest of your computer. They are Expensive and generate a lot of heat forcing them to have their own fan mounted on them with a special cooling paste located in between the chip and the fan.

● Graphics Card
The graphics card is located on your motherboard and is an add on with the aim to give your computer higher quality graphics and processes the graphics information that is required to run the program you are using. They can be quite expansive ranging from fifty dollars to in the hundreds for the really good ones, graphic cards require different software based on their quality and brands to operate properly.

● Ram (Random Access Memory)
The ram is helper to the CPU chip and allows your computer to run faster by storing short term memory on it for the processor to process quicker. (without adequate RAM the data for processing has to be recorded to and from the hard drive which slows it down)

● Networking Card
A Networking card allows your computer too communicate with other computers and the internet. Our computers are linked by cable, but can be wireless setups.

● USB ports allow keyboards and mice to be plugged in as well as other extras

● Power Supply
The power supply gives electricity to the whole computer converting it to different voltage for different parts of the motherboard and peripherals so its not to high, usually 12 volts or less.

● Computer Case
the computer case is just a protective skin that covers all the electronics in side and holds them in the right position, it also protects from dust and little fingers.

● DVD Drive/CD ROM
The DVD/CD ROM reads information that’s recorded on to CDs and DVDs giving the information to the CPU chip.

Different connections and brands

● Hard Drives
Hard drives come in a mixture of brands but the two most common are Seagate, and Western Digital. Hard drives come with connections of IDE, Sata, Sata2, and Sata3 (oldest to newest). They come in the sizes of 20gb, 30gb, 40gb, 60gb, 80gb, 100gb, 120, 250gb 500gb, 1000gb(1TB), and 2000gb(2TB). I prefer Seagate, but there are some who would say differently.

CPU chips
● The CPU chip comes in many brands for example Intel and AMD. And have different connections that need to match your motherboard's CPU slot eg. Intel 775 pin 1155 pin, 1156 pin, 1366 pin AMD comes in AMD3 and a 754 socket.

● Graphics card
Graphics cards come with the connections of PCI AGP and PCI Express they come in a lot of different brands the most common being Nvidia Gigabyte and Asus. They come with their own on board memory and processing unit, the faster graphic cards are also demanding enough to have their own fans and power cords attached directly to them.

● RAM
RAM comes in a lot of brands but the two most common are Kingston and corsair the connections range from PCI 100, PCI, DDR, DDR2,and DDR3 (oldest to newest),there are others but these are the most common, the motherboard dictates which ones you have to get to be compatible with the system.

● Motherboards
Motherboards come in three main brands ASUS Gigabyte and Intel. Some of more common connections you can get are Intel 775pin 1155pin, 1156, 1366, AMD, AMD2 and AMD3.
The choice of motherboard is based on what add-ons you want to have access for.

How we tested computers that weren't working:

To test a computer you need to go through the process of elimination. Eliminating the possible problems and isolating them.

The first step is to clean the computer up with a air compressor, vacuum cleaner, or a light brush, an air compressor is preferable.

The second step is to strip the computer down to bare minumin allow just the parts that the computer needs to function, one motherboard, one stick of RAM, a graphics card if the motherboard doesn’t have one built in, a CPU chip with fan in place, and a power supply, you don't need the hard drive to be plugged in until your actually sure the computer works.

Third step is swapping out parts ... if the computer doesn’t work first time swap the RAM preferable with one you know works, if it still doesn’t work then swap graphics card, if still not working swap the CPU chip if it's still not working after swapping power supply then it’s going to be the motherboard. Hopefully you've been able to work out which part caused the problem. (Or else it is more than one item or the motherboard or BIOS)

Four step: Now that you’ve isolated the problem then you can go about finding out which parts work with it from before you stripped it down.

Fifth step: after doing that you can plug in you hard drive and give it a full boot up. If your computer doesn’t recognise your hard drive make sure it is in the first port and it is all plugged in correctly. It will tell you which is the first port next to the port on the motherboard (in very small writing). After doing this if it still doesn’t work go into the BIOS by pressing the appropriate key when your computer starts to boot up. In the BIOS you will be in main menu you need to see if the computer recognises the hard drive in there. If it doesn't find it, go into the boot devices menu item and see if you can get it to recognise it in there, if not change the cable connection and check that there is nothing on the motherboard that shouldn’t be there (eg. We had loose screws near the cable socket that stopped our computer for months) after these steps if the hard drive isn't damaged it should work.

Installing windows

To install windows you will need to have a CD ROM or DVD drive plugged in and your windows CD in the drive after this it is a simply job of following the instrucions ... but if it has errors or doesnt recognise the CD or DVD drive here's what you do: * make sure the cd drive is plugged in properly
* make sure it is set to Master by moving the jumper which is a little plastic piece next to power to the right one (it will have which one written on the drive or if its on cable choice make sure you have it plugged in to the primary plug).
* if you have two cd drives (which isnt recomened for installing windows) make sure ones on master and ones on slave,
* when installing windows you will need to make sure you have 2GB of Ram or LESS if you have any more than 2GB of RAM you will probably experience errors when trying to install windows.
With these potential problems out of the way, the windows installation should work.

What you need to build a computer from scratch

You will need a computer case, power supply, motherboard, ram, graphics card, cpu chip, cpu cooling fan, one or more fans for your case, a hard drive and windows installer CD, you will also need a CDROM Drive. The hard thing is probably making sure it is all compatible.

You screw the motherboard into the correct position, with the ports facing out of the case, then screw the power supply in. After that screw the hard drive in, making sure it's on master, the CD-ROM follows this.

After following these steps, slot in your graphics card and ram. Now that your components are all pluged in you have to plug them in to power, if you don't know what your doing or your motherboard is a different design to what your use to, you may need to find your motherboards manual on the computer by typing in it's code which should be located on it as a sticker.

The hard drive may need a sata power converter cord if it's a newer model and the mother board may need a 20 pin power converter if it's a 24 pin.

After this it's just a matter of knowing what goes where or if you don't know, take a look at another computer the same design, or the manul.

After this, you are ready to install windows.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-60601932939321138152011-03-22T00:48:00.000-07:002011-03-22T05:44:20.319-07:00Finished Computers!I have finally finished upgrading, 'combining' and repairing the computers, my own as well as a number of others. I managed to get two computers working for our friends, the computers I didn't get to work, I pulled the hard drives out of them and installed them in the working computers.

For my own computer I ended up buying a whole new motherboard, graphics card and CPU chip as well as Windows 7 ultimate. A kind friend gave me 2GB of ram, all up it cost me $400. I was also given a big new power supply and computer case from our friends, whose computers I fixed. By building a new computer it ended up much cheaper then buying it already made from the shop. Originally I was only planning to buy a couple of parts.

I have been taking notes on what I did and learnt for my school work, I'm planning on posting about it at the end of the month.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-67768716892815955512011-02-09T14:50:00.000-08:002011-02-09T15:12:49.554-08:00New Hard Drive and Computer RepairsTwo weeks ago I ordered a 1000GB(1TB) hard drive and it finally came on Monday. Unfortunately I will have to wait awhile before I can install it into my computer, as our power supply is already on its maximum output, and cannot handle any thing else attached to it. Which now means I will have to buy a new power box. My back fan has also gone which also means I will have to buy a new one.

At the moment I'm fixing up my friend's computers so I'm hoping that from the computers I can't get working I will be able to salvage a power box and fan.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 34px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZedbR0cYdPS9u_zL143NpSzQwSHz2uvsGVWHsYWQisW4A77-cc2jgxu-0r4ybT8WARQc6RqKqYdJQbyXqSqoDirCks-gdg9EQ_R7ADRcm9qWSc0asayiQmIwD6n3yKFQvPCquhPnhi1uF/s400/Elvish.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571831109687559474" />Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-62325070332362093052011-01-30T18:05:00.000-08:002011-01-30T18:35:24.439-08:00Holiday LAN PartyAt the beginning of the Christmas holidays I thought it would be a great idea if I invited some friends over to have a big LAN party [multi-player].
So about two weeks later three of our friends came over with their computers and the games we wanted to play. Together with my brothers and my friends there were six of us.

The LAN party went for two days, from 9 A.M to 4:30 P.M the next day with a movie night in between, where we watched Iron Man 2 till 10. The most popular game played was Star Wars Battle Front 2 followed by Stronghold Legends. With only a couple of hiccups with the computers the LAN party was a big success, I hope we can do it again next holidays.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 34px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJAzzrarcx0fPidoBwTRTFsJXJ1Gn71_93Bayf4mEO6tLnvyUZlZw52ucMyW-p9L3Q3rLjAjOKfblYtND_sHCOLWqGNxVRklA_RloeiLgK6C0zOb_OC2dZi1tCk0aqUwSNlEaI5J3NwTK8/s400/Elvish.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568170468594924626" />Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-10661902308733260782011-01-28T21:22:00.000-08:002011-01-29T18:52:17.730-08:00Total Annilaltion - Cave DogThis post is for any gamers that read my blog.

Total Annihilation is a robotic war game where the aim of the game is to annihilate your opponent from the entire universe.
Total Annihilation is a strategy game, and was released on September 30, 1997, by Cave Dog.
After Total Annihilation was released two expansions were also released Core Contingency, and Battle Tactics, giving the game more maps, units, and missions.
You can play the missions, skirmish, or multi-player, I would say multi-player is the best, but if you don't have other people at the same skill level to play with, or you only have one computer, skirmish is almost just as good as multi-player, the only difference is you are versing computer players instead of humans. Skirmish is also great for practicing for multi-player games, some of the missions really challenge your skill and give you a good idea of where your skill is at by what difficulties you can set it on and still complete them. The modern day game of Total Annihilation is Supreme Commander based on Total Annihilation, and designed by the same lead designer as Total Annihilation, Chris Taylor.

To defeat your opponent you must gather resources and use them to create your armies and base defense, the more resources you gather earlier on in the game gives you a better chance of getting your base defense up if you play defensive, or starting your army production if you are an offensive player. I'm a defensive player most of the time, until I have my base defense up then I turn to offensive.

For a 14 year old game it's still definitely worth playing.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 34px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpfzw5udJHaQMb67VZPPIwyKYvwaGgqpe1tP1uVdqWVE8rsTKQOPXt8cPxLrCZv4Raq_Y9YPzKjoa1L2NoI5P9_IaIqAV5tDSOgUB4YpSYEqEkQnCsI9sxZrQiPYVGt9E8DkYvExBUAXbJ/s400/Elvish.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567769048460910914" />Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-15640457553895167232011-01-27T21:50:00.000-08:002011-01-27T22:50:34.413-08:00Almond Flour CookingTwo weeks ago we received an almond flour cook book in the mail, since then I have made; almond flour pancakes, bread, banana choc chip cake, and date scones, [Which were meant to be apricot but I had to substitute for dates].
The pancakes and bread were from the authors blog not from the cook book.

The pancakes were great, far better then I thought they would be, the only problem with them was a strong flavor of almond, I soon found by adding more honey and vanilla I got rid of the almond taste.

The bread tastes great smeared with butter and saturated in honey especially while it's still hot, my only problem with it is it does not rise.

The banana choc chip cake was fantastic it was more of a moist cake then one of those dry cakes, which I thought was great, the only problem was I'm not really allowed to have choc chips, so next time I will have to have it without them.

The date/apricot scones were great and tasted nice with honey or butter or even just by itself.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 360px; height: 34px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuGU6OfqbOevx6-_FaHPP6SlLeioTMG7mK87c6im0YdVpHs5CL_IXEe3lc4zENNQMkTvau4eLZb-NuBD_lc3kQnUSc7Ih-OwOsamEBfsq2Xza69EVlZ13V5_QJe-lAdkLHXYerIZKR_cao/s400/Elvish.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5567115785393694610" />Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-86911348688683668882010-11-17T18:59:00.000-08:002011-01-27T03:19:43.897-08:00Legolas' Arrow TipsSorry everyone for not posting in seven months!! Then a rumbling started from the deep and black smoke began to come from Mordorath’s body, there was a flash and then where Mordorath’s body had been there was nothing.
The smoke in the air took the shape of Mordorath, and his voice shook the ground like thunder and was so powerful that it threw everyone to the ground. Mordorath facing Gonifred, dripping venom from his mouth said, “One day I will regain shape again, and I will regain my power, and I will become so powerful that nothing can kill Me.” and with that Mordorath gave an ear splitting screech and his shadow fled to a deep place to regain strength.

Mordorath’s army was now thrown into chaos. Scattering like ants they fled to caves and crevices deep within the mountains. All that was left was Mordorath’s two captains, they had two small red jewels set in their crowns, they glared at EMAD’s, then the jewels in their crown glowed fiery red and then they turned and fled to their master who was waiting for them.

A great cheer broke out amongst the alliance, Gonifred’s father king Thundil made his way through the cheering people to where his son lay. His son was so weary from the battle with Mordorath that he had fallen into a deep sleep. Thundil called men over with a stretcher to bear Gonifred off the battlefield to his tent to tend his wounds. Thundil lingered over Mordorath’s crown they would have to decide what they would do with it. He bent down to pick it up, it was still hot. He wrapped his hands in his cloak and picked it up, covering it with his cloak he followed after his son. He would hold a meeting tomorrow with the other kings. That night there would be a celebration to honor his son and for the victory of the war. When he got back to the tent he found his son already up, such were the remarkable recovery abilities of an elf, but he was still very weary. He dismissed everyone from the tent so that his son could rest.

That night there was a party, there was ale and music and the men made merry long into the night.
The next day King Thundil held a meeting with the other kings about what was to be done about Mordorath and his crown. Although Mordorath’s body had been defeated, and his armies scattered, and the dragon hid deep within his lair, waiting for the return of his master. Mordorath’s spirit had endured and it lived because of the jewel, it was just a matter of time before Mordorath grew powerful enough to start another war. Although he wouldn’t be able to take shape again until he had the jewel. He could still start another war for total dominance of the lands of Arnor.
Now the problem was what to do with the jewel. It was obvious that the jewel was a great source of power, so a dwarven king suggested. “Use its power”.
An elf king argued that it would be too dangerous to use and there would be war as to who could use it. So he wanted to destroy it but no-one know how. Some of the kings supported the dwarf king’s idea and others supported the elf king and others came up with their own opinions. But no one could agree on any until an old wizard who had been invited to attend the council, and until now had just been watching both sides of the debate, rose to his feet and said "How about we bury it".
King Thundil stopped and turned to the wizard and so did the rest of the kings.
“And what will that gain us?” asked a king, “how will that stop Mordorath?”
“If we bury it deep to stop any one finding it, then we could cast spells of sleeping over it and Mordorath would sleep until we find a way to destroy it”.
“Why not decide that here and now” argued one of the kings.
“Well we are not going to decide that in this meeting and this will buy us as much time as we need to find a way with out worrying about Mordorath”.

King Thundil knew it was not wise to go against the advice of wizards. He slowly nodded his head and one by one more kings agreed to that term of action. So after returning in triumph to each of their lands the kings gathered again deep within a mountain, and there they hid the jewel and cast spells over it to keep Mordorath in an enchanted sleep until they found a way to destroy it. But a way was not found and in the many years of peace that followed Mordorath’s defeat many people forgot. The tunnel was sealed up and the kings forgot the threat and thinking that a way was found, stopped searching. Mordorath slept and his army remained hidden and scattered and Mordorath and his jewel became a story, and the story became legend, and legend became myth, and the jewel which should have been destroyed was not and Mordorath whose life force was now bound to the jewel slept, but still lived and it would just be a matter of time before the jewel was uncovered and Mordorath would awaken.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-66471652054909099342009-11-09T15:40:00.000-08:002009-11-09T15:53:27.526-08:00Star Wars Character Test<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 132px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUqH4jcHWK3aquhghrZzu-pQYdxn-HpFbP_z5vGUaMvYOg7d3oPFZzWOPxnJfZVH0jKODmTcuFQWWJu3Q8VOBw9IvCAuUweG8ouNqbSNDMTv7GMXEB90MfRGdadPm-jxQJ-GDBaJ4rWJZl/s200/lando1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5402255243688447282" />
I did the star wars character test recently, and I was Lando calrissian.Legolashttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01045663863566917163noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853843733384716652.post-55747686588298331292009-11-08T23:53:00.000-08:002009-11-09T16:14:52.057-08:00Book Review<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlN3WUeQPCCAwWXDGaZDSkd7vAxg28V1BTUVzncdfSTQ29-dKNTXgY9513KBUScFCXYk3TqeBVmdyDyqbK12kcDvAiERBfs41hHl0CA2cAv9VOPDKOQ3cvLxuUQFBoTi9__ryfy4H7E-5i/s200/stone+holding.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5402015816239009218" /> The Stone Holding is the first book of a series not yet completed. It is pretty heavy reading, but very interesting. It resembles The Lord Of The Rings a bit but has it's own uniqueness. I really enjoyed its fantasy creatures, and the action that was all through it kept the story exciting.

*The following is heavy on story plot, read no further unless want to spoil it for yourself.

It's all about a young man named Kalaquinn(Kal) Wright, whose town and valley is under attack by the evil forces called, Scorpion Dragoons. The Scorpion Dragoons are controlled by the Kingdom's right hand man Ferabek. Ferabek wants to kill the true blood prince of Arvon and take over the throne. He thinks the highlanders know where he is. The highlanders flee to a ancient stronghold in the mountains to keep alive. The stronghold is meant for the Hordanu. The Hordanu are high bard's and healers, they are known and praised throughout the land of Arvon. At this time there is only one Hordanu, and he is old. So in secret he makes Kal a Hordanu with only Kal's best friend Galli as a witness. He shows Kal the golden harp of legends. The harp has magical powers that can keep evil at bay. They make it to the stronghold but shortly after arrival Wilum, the old Hordanu is killed, and the harp is stolen. They are in danger of being overrun by the enemy when Kal stumbles upon a passage to the underground city of the Hammers.
